"From The Margins to the Center: Hearing, Heeding and Incorporating the Wisdom of the Youth"

The Spring Meeting is designed to include simultaneously occurring adult and youth worship services followed by workshops created for each group.

The churches in the CMA are encouraged to send both adult and youth representatives to participate in the Spring Meeting. The format is slightly different from previous meetings. There will be a youth developed and preached worship service along with audience response to the main topics introduced in the sermon. In the youth program, a mini concert will occur throughout the program; followed by a jointly taught (youth and adult) workshop on learning and respecting the value of money.

The following diagram shows in a picture the goal of seeking shared wisdom. Each has a perspective; and when brought together at a roundtable its power enhances the community.

Registration is required. However, for youth up to age 23 there is no charge for attendance or lunch.
